The Kitsap County Sheriff's Posse is an all volunteer equestrian unit incorporated in 1957 to assist the community in partnership with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Department. The Posse enjoys performing in parades, riding precision drills, gaming with horses and many other horse related activites. Membership is open to any horse owner 21 or older who as an interest in community service invloving horses. For those younger riders, the Junior Posse is looking for riders age 14 to 20.

Residents of Kitsap County and surrounding are welcome to join. We have members from Silverdale, Poulsbo, Bremerton, Sebeck, and Bainbridge Island.

Posse Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Silver Spurs in Silverdale.
